When she was young, she grew up at Chinatown in Los Angelesher and her mother forced her to learn the Chinese language and Chinese culture, but she resisted to do it. However, after years, Elizabeth Wong change her mind, she knows the importancee of chinese culture, She holds a Master degree in NYU and Bachelor degree in USC. And she is a playwright and television writer.

Elizabeth described her story is similar to the way Carrie's essay used. They both sum up their poins in the end of their artical. This really connected the theme, and remind their readers of the depper meaning of their artical.
3. How does she begin this essay (intro)? How does she end the essay (conclusion)?
She talk about the memory of her chinese school in America. She racall her mother forced her to go to chinese school and she resisted it. But in the end of story, she says "Sadly, I still am". In my point, this means she finally realize how important her own culture is to her just like a gift, the totally different thoughts mades readers understand the journey of her topic: the struggle to be an all-America girl.
4. How do we know for sure that Wong regrets her assimilation into American culture? Be specific.
She mentioned her regrets in the end of her essays. She writes "At last, I was one of you; I wasn't one of them. Sadly, I still am." She realize what her used to resist excetly is what she should be cherish, what is more, she is regret about her thought when she was young, she know she finally can't be a america girl in her blood.
